"Strategio" is a word that comes from the Esperanto language. In Esperanto, "strategio" means "strategy," referring to a plan of action designed to achieve a particular goal.
When working with Strategio Advisors what one does not get is cookie-cutter solutions. Before recommending any product or service our Principal, John Garven, first takes the time to carefully listen so that he truly understands the problems the client is wanting to solve.
For companies and organizations with less than 150 employees enrolled in benefits, we typically work with such clients as their broker of record with the insurance companies and vendors they contract with. In such instances we are paid commissions that are priced into the insurance companies' / vendors' products and services, and we fully disclose the same. As regards clients with more than 150 enrolled employees, more often than not we contract on a fee for service basis directly with such clients, and in those instances the products and services we assist clients with procuring are priced without broker commissions.
Regardless of the basis for engagement, what clients can expect to receive when working with us is objective, informed advice. Because we are wholly transparent around broker commissions and/or consulting fees, there is no self-dealing or other potential conflicts of interest which ensures the objectivity of the advice that's rendered.
